Ms. Anne-Funmi Fatusin

 

Anne-Funmi Fatusin is a Public Speaker and member of the renowned Toast Masters International, a Social Commentator, great Networker and an Event Consultant.
Anne’s role within the Nigerian Diaspora community has been of invaluable. She was a strong voice on the National Political Reform Conference which took place in Nigeria in 2005, advocating for Voting in the Diaspora. Also an advocate for the Nigeria National Volunteer Service (NNVS) inaugurated during President Obasanjo’s administration where she represented the Nigerian Diaspora at the NNVS conferences in Abuja, Nigeria. A member of the UN Women London Leadership Committee dedicated to Gender Equality and Women Empowerment. Due to her involvement in the Nigerian Diaspora Community in London, she was invited by the UK Nigeria’s High Commissioner, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, to be Secretary for the Nigeria at 50 Fundraising Committee, in celebration of Nigeria’s Independence. She is the Convener of the Renewing the African Mindset (R.A.M.) – an open forum where Africans and Friends of Africa engage in lively discussions on how the African Diaspora can embrace and coalesce ethical aspects of both African and Western cultures, without losing their African identity.
Anne is currently working on her latest project called – the GRIA Project following the Lily Anne Show which she founded. The GRIA project is a Facebook Live Chat which focuses on the global rebranding of the image of Africa. Anne-Funmi is a passionate Nigerian whose philosophy is for every African Diaspora to engage in the National Development of their motherland in order to ‘stem the brain drain of skills and knowledge’. Her belief is that every African should be POSITIVE CHANGE AGENTS for their respective home and adopted countries.
